Early Life and Background

Born 1957 in Guntur, Mulugu Ramlingeswara Vara Prasad’s journey into the world of astrology began at a young age. Raised in a family with a rich tradition in astrological studies, he inherited the knowledge and wisdom passed down through generations. As he honed his skills, Mulugu’s passion for astrology deepened, setting the stage for his later accomplishments.

Before embarking on spiritual life as an Astrologer, Mulugu Siddhant made a name for himself as a mimicry artist under the name MR Prasad. “Sridevi Pelli” was an all time hit which sold millions of cassettes at that time. He gave thousands of performances alongside famous Mimicry giants like Nerella Venumadhav garu. 

Sri Saiva Maha Peetham

Mulugu Naga Lingaiah, an Astrologer and Vastu Shastra pandit himself, who also happens to be the Grandfather of Sri Mulugu Siddhnati garu established “Shaiva Peetham” in Guntur in 1889, to spread the knowledge of Astrology and help people in distress. Later it was managed by Mulugu Viswanatham garu, the father of Sri Mulugu Siddhanti garu and finally the reins of the peetham was passed on to Sri Mulugu Siddhanti gar. Post his (Mulugu Siddhati’s) demise, his only daughter Smt. Mulugu Sivajyothi is taking care of the Peetham. Mulugu Sivajyothi garu is continuing the legacy of her ancestors and has established herself as an eminent astrologer. 

Professional Journey

Mulugu’s journey as a professional astrologer took flight as he started offering consultations and guidance to individuals seeking insights into their lives. His accurate predictions and empathetic approach garnered attention, establishing him as a trusted astrological advisor. Over the years, he has built a diverse clientele, including celebrities, politicians, and common individuals seeking direction in their personal and professional lives.

Noteworthy Contributions

Mulugu Siddhanti garu  is not just an astrologer; he is also known for his contributions to the field. Whether through publications, workshops, or public talks, he has played a role in disseminating astrological knowledge to a wider audience. His efforts have helped demystify astrology for many, making it more accessible and understandable. He established MNM International Astrology Research Institute, in Srisailam. He established an ashram at Srisailam and conducted Pujas and Homa rituals like Pasupata Homams every month as part of remedial measures for the doshas in horoscopes. He presided over Ayushya Homams for the welfare of the world and to protect the world from the Corona epidemic.

Mulugu Siddhanti garu mastered every aspect of astrology. His methods – calculations were perfect and most of the predictions came true. Mulugu Astrology has become a brand in itself. Mulugu family had been publishing Panchangams (the Hindu Almanacs) and Calendars under the brand name “Subhatithi”(since 1997) which had become a popular household among Telugu people. He established – Sri Sivajyothi Jyothishalayam in 2000 to offer his astro services. His predictions have been published in Telugu newspapers like Vaartha, Sakshi, Andhra Jyothi etc., for the last 14 years. Also he did a program called Rasiphalalu through MAA TV for the benefit of common people. Prepared regional calendars for NRIs (New York, London, Sydney, Los-Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta) as per their time zones.

After his demise in January 2022, his social media assets are fraudulently being controlled and used by his close aide, to ride on Mulugu’s popularity without the consent of Mulugu family members and a legal IP battle is being fought.
